VITON™ A-361C Sheet Fluoroelastomer

Viton™ A-361C* is an incorporated cure "A-family" dipolymer designed for the injection and transfer molding of parts requiring better metal adhesion along with the fluid and heat resistance characteristics typical of fluoroelastomers. The moderate viscosity level of Viton™ A-361C also allows for satisfactory compression molding of parts. Features of Viton™ A-361C are intermediate viscosity level (when compared with Viton™ A-201C/Viton™ A-401C). Fully precompounded with reduced curative level and incorporated metal adhesion promoter. Has improved processing, increased mold flow, easier mold release with less mold fouling and improved demolding "hot tear" plus good metal bonding with standard industrial primers. Applications: compression, transfer, and injection molding of: O-rings and gaskets and valve stem and crankshaft seals (and other bonded parts requiring fluid and heat resistance of the A-family of Viton™.)

VITON™ A-500 Sheet Fluoroelastomer

Viton™A-500 Fluoroelastomer is a new generation "A-family" gum polymer that provides improved processing when compared with existing fluoroelastomers. Viton™ A-500 is designed for use with the clean molding bisphenol curative, Viton™ Curative No. 50 compared to "A-family" dipolymers, Viton™ A-500 provides has improved compression molding, better mold release, less mold fouling, faster cure rate and improved compression set resistance. Applications: compression and transfer molding, O-rings, gaskets, seals, profile extrusion and calendered goods.

VITON™ A-200 Sheet Fluoroelastomer

Viton™ A-200 Fluoroelastomer is an "A-family" gum polymer that demonstrates improved processing when compared with existing fluoroelastomers. Viton™ A-200 is designed for use with the clean molding bisphenol curative, Viton™ Curative No. 50. Compared to other "A-family" dipolymers, Viton™ A-200 provides lower viscosity, improved mold flow, excellent extrusion characteristics, better mold release, less mold fouling and improved compression set resistance. Applications: transfer and injection molding in O-rings, valve stem seals and shaft seals and parts with complicated shapes. Extrusions of fuel hose and tubing. Solution coating in fabric, tanks or chemical containers.

VITON™ A-100 Sheet Fluoroelastomer

Viton™ A-100 is especially designed for use with Viton™ Curative No. 50. It may be blended with other Viton™ types to enhance flow and processibility. Compared with other "A-family" dipolymers, Viton™ A-100 provides ultralow viscosity, improved processing with increased mold flow and can be blended with other Viton™ types to enhance processibility and improve flow. Excellent mold release and good compression set resistance for low-viscosity Viton™ compounds. Applications: transfer and injection molding of complex shapes such as gaskets, extrusions can be used to modify viscosity of other types of Viton™ and solution coating in fabric and tanks or chemical containers.
