EXXELOR® VA 1803 Modifier

Exxelor® VA 1803 is a high flow, amporphous ethylene copolymer functionalized with maleic anhydride by reactive extrusion. Its fully saturated polymer backbone results in outstanding thermal and oxidative stability, leading to enhcanced weatherability. Exxelor VA® 1803 has an amorphous nature exhibiting impact resistance for the full range of polyamides for temperatures as low as -40°C, offering the best balance between stiffness and low temperature performance in polyamide blends. Exxelor VA® 1803 may also be used to modify the impact characteristics of other engineering thermoplastics and technical polymers (with or without glass fibers, fillers, etc.), and may be used to achieve compatibility between polyolefins and more polar polymers that are capable of interacting with maleic anhydride.

EXXELOR® PO 1015 Modifier

Exxelor® PO 1015 is a maleic anhydride functionalized polypropylene copolymer, produced by reactive-extrusion which is primarily designed to function as a coupling agent by adding polarity to polypropylene matrices and in particular to improve reactivity with amino-silane treated glass reinforcements and inorganic fillers. Exxelor® PO 1015 can be used to achieve compatibility in polypropylene/polyamid alloys, as well as compatibility between polyolefins and more polar polymers that are capable of interacting with maleic anhydride for alloying, recycling or co-extrusion purposes. It also can be used to improve polypropylene-to-metal adhesion properties.

EXXELOR® VA 1801 Modifier

Exxelor® VA 1801 is a mediun viscosity, semi-crystalline ethylene copolymer functionalized with maleic anhydride by reactive extrusion. Its fully saturated polymer backbone results in outstanding thermal and oxidative stability, leading to enhcanced weatherability. Exxelor® VA 1801 has an elastomeric nature provides high-impact resistance at room temperature and at low temperature when blended with engineering polymers such as polyamide. It can modify the impact characteristics of the full range of polyamides for temperatures as low as -20°C (a function of the modifier treat level in the blend). Exxelor® VA 1801 can also modify the impact characteristics of other engineering thermoplastics and technical polymers (with or without glass fibers, fillers, etc.). This polymer modifier can achieve compatibility between polyolefins and more polar polymers that are capable of interacting with maleic anhydride.

EXXELOR® PO 1020 Modifier

Exxelor® PO 1020 is a maleic anhydride functionalized polypropylene copolymer, produced by reactive-extrusion, which is primarily designed to function as a coupling agent by adding polarity to polypropylene matrices and in particular to improve reactivity with amino-silane treated glass reinforcements and inorganic fillers. Its high content of maleic anhydride allows it to be used at low treat levels while maintaining optimum application properties. Exxelor® PO 1020 can be used to achieve compatibility in polypropylene/polyamid alloys, as well as compatibility between polyolefins and more polar polymers that are capable of interacting with maleic anhydride for alloying, recycling or co-extrusion purposes. It also can be used to improve polypropylene-to-metal adhesion properties.
